The MagResource provides links to printable documents, i.e. Manufacturer’s published information, Instructions For Use, MRI Safety Instructions, Websites, snd hardcopy text responses for specific implant information. Other sources include: National Institute of Health (NIH) Documents and Studies, Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Documents and Independent Studies. MagResource provides daily database updates rather than annual revisions. And, a unique pricing structure, by quantity of scanners, allows installation on several computers for access to the database by schedulers, prescreener and technologists. A free inservice-style instruction is included with the subscription. If a medical implant is not in the database, MagResource will endeavor to find it for you.
