 SUMMARY

The pelvic floor has been an anatomical region traditionally difficult to image. In this exhibit, we want to provide an in-depth view of the normal MRI anatomy of the pelvic floor, with special attention to the differences that exist between males and females.  The latter is of utmost importance for medical treatment and surgical planning of perineal disease.   We additionally provide a discussion of techniques and common pitfalls in pelvic floor imaging.
