 PURPOSE/AIM
 

The purpose of this exhibit is to:
1. Review the indications, techniques, results, and prognosis in lung transplant recipients.
2. Analyze pertinent imaging findings after uncomplicated lung transplantation and after occurrence of complications.

 SUMMARY
 

Lung transplantation remains a life-saving procedure yet is fraught with complications. The importance of imaging in the selection process, post-operative management, and long-term follow-up cannot be over-emphasized. The major teaching points of this exhibit are:
1. Imaging plays a major role in selection, management and follow-up of these complex patients.
2. Familiarity with the clinical and imaging spectrum of issues is of significant importance for radiologists.
