Plenary Sessions 18 Events
  Plenary Sessions are highlights of the RSNA annual meeting. Keynote addresses, annual orations, interpretation sessions, and special symposia are offered in the plenary session format. Plenary Sessions also provide the opportunity to recognize grant and award recipients and to honor individuals who have made important contributions to radiology. Location and times as noted.
Focus Sessions 28 Events
  Special Focus Sessions address important radiology-related topics that are late breaking, controversial or require in-depth analysis. These sessions are open to all registrants and are scheduled throughout the week. Location and times as noted.
Multisession Courses 86 Events
  Multisession courses are scheduled for time blocks ranging from several hours to several days, to allow intensive study of various topics.
Refresher Courses 252 Events
  Refresher Courses are designed to cover both traditional and cutting edge topics in a subspecialty area. Location and times as noted.
Scientific Papers 209 Events
  Scientific Paper presentations are completed hypothesis-driven research with a comprehensive report, a work-in-progress report of ongoing research of emerging ideas and techniques and containing initial yet defined results, or a brief pertinent report of a particular new aspect or understanding of clinical radiology. Location and time as noted.
Lakeside Learning Center - Scientific Posters 629 Events
  Scientific poster presentations are completed hypothesis-driven research with a comprehensive report, a work-in-progress report of ongoing research of emerging ideas and techniques and containing initial yet defined results, or a brief pertinent report of a particular new aspect or understanding of clinical radiology. Scientific posters are presented in electronic format on dedicated computers located in the Learning Center, Hall E, 8:00am - 6:00pm Sun, 7:00am - 10:00pm Mon – Thu, and 7:00am - 12:45pm Fri. Posters are available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Day and times as noted.
Lakeside Learning Center - Education Exhibits 1656 Events
  Education exhibits should be designed to teach or review radiologic signs, pathologic correlations, procedures, techniques, treatments, and interventions or other aspects related to the practice of imaging. Exhibits are located in the Learning Center, Hall E, 8:00am - 6:00pm Sun, 7:00am - 10:00pm Mon - Thu, and 7:00am - 12:45pm Fri. Select exhibits are available for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Day and times as noted.
Informatics 183 Events
  The Informatics demonstration areas showcase computer applications in radiologic education and information management. These are non-proprietary computer-based demonstrations of the management and communications of images and data for patient care and professional education. Located in Lakeside Learning Center (Hall E) 8:00am - 6:00pm Sun, 7:00am - 10:00pm Mon - Thu, and 7:00am - 12:45pm Fri. Informatics courses that previously took place in the Web, Advanced Imaging and Informatics classrooms are in meeting rooms in the South Building, Levels 4 and 5. All Hands-on Computer Workshops (HOW) are located in Hall A within the Technical Exhibition.
